Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 plus years of experience in a restaurant setting preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Willingness to work a part-time schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well with others
  • Must be able to lift and carry moderate weight
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • 1 plus years of prior experience as a restaurant busser or food runner is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of sanitation and cleanliness standards
  • Ability to work a part-time schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with servers to ensure proper guest service
  • Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, and ensure ashtrays are clean and available in designated smoking areas
  • Clear, clean, and sanitize booths, chairs, and tables, resetting them with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, and other necessary tabletop items
  • Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from tables and transport them to the kitchen for washing, properly disposing of trash in designated receptacles
  • Coordinate table availability and communicate consistently with servers, hostesses, and management to ensure efficient table turnaround
  • Serve and refill water, coffee, and soft drinks as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining room floors
