Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 plus years of experience in a restaurant setting preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Willingness to work a part-time schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with others
- Must be able to lift and carry moderate weight
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Qualifications
- 1 plus years of prior experience as a restaurant busser or food runner is preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of sanitation and cleanliness standards
- Ability to work a part-time schedule including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Collaborate with servers to ensure proper guest service
- Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, and ensure ashtrays are clean and available in designated smoking areas
- Clear, clean, and sanitize booths, chairs, and tables, resetting them with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, and other necessary tabletop items
- Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from tables and transport them to the kitchen for washing, properly disposing of trash in designated receptacles
- Coordinate table availability and communicate consistently with servers, hostesses, and management to ensure efficient table turnaround
- Serve and refill water, coffee, and soft drinks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room floors
