Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • one year experience in professional food service preferred
  • basic cooking skills required
  • previous customer service experience preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal
  • ability to work in fast paced, noisy environment
  • ability to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino
  • able to handle objects up to 50 pounds
  • must comply with all company policies including information security
  • willingness to complete required training within 9 months
  • able to attend all necessary meetings
  • willing to work a 24-hour schedule
  • maintain proper mental attitude and physical stamina under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • at least one year experience in professional food service preferred
  • basic cooking fundamentals required
  • previous customer service experience preferred
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to interact effectively with customers and employees
  • ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically
  • ability to work harmoniously with others under pressure

Job Duties

  • perform large volume and small quantity cooking
  • follow production sheets and recipes accurately
  • maintain clean and safe work environment
  • complete prep work such as cutting and preparing food items
  • prepare and heat soups, sauces, meats, starches, fish, seafood, and vegetables
  • perform back-up functions for front line including assembling dishes
  • prepare menu items to order during high volume
  • notify Sous Chef when supplies run low
  • assemble supplies and equipment needed for cooking
  • review production schedule for food requirements
  • regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, and grills
  • follow food safety standards and properly label, date, and rotate products
  • maintain proper food temperatures according to regulatory standards
  • maintain professional and pleasant communication
  • attend required training and meetings
  • comply with company policies and safety guidelines
