Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous baking and restaurant experience required
- ability to follow standard recipes and procedures
- strong attention to detail
- good organizational skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- availability for seasonal employment from January to April 2026
Job Qualifications
- Baking and/or restaurant experience required
Job Duties
- Produce Deer Valley quality baked goods consistently
- use standard recipes and designated procedures to produce baked goods
- execute banquet event orders as specified in banquet sheets
- assist pastry chef with menu planning and scheduling
- direct and assist bakery crew
- maintain sufficient inventory of baked goods and order supplies
- ensure prepped food and leftover products are properly wrapped, labeled, and stored
- follow proper food handling procedures to prevent food-borne illness and allergies
- manage food costs through efficient menu planning and creative use of leftovers
- mail wholesale and special order bills daily
- perform other duties as assigned
