Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous baking and restaurant experience required
  • ability to follow standard recipes and procedures
  • strong attention to detail
  • good organizational skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • availability for seasonal employment from January to April 2026

Job Qualifications

  • Baking and/or restaurant experience required

Job Duties

  • Produce Deer Valley quality baked goods consistently
  • use standard recipes and designated procedures to produce baked goods
  • execute banquet event orders as specified in banquet sheets
  • assist pastry chef with menu planning and scheduling
  • direct and assist bakery crew
  • maintain sufficient inventory of baked goods and order supplies
  • ensure prepped food and leftover products are properly wrapped, labeled, and stored
  • follow proper food handling procedures to prevent food-borne illness and allergies
  • manage food costs through efficient menu planning and creative use of leftovers
  • mail wholesale and special order bills daily
  • perform other duties as assigned
