Job Duties
- Provide continuous attention to customer needs
- greet, assist, and thank customers promptly, courteously, and kindly
- help customers unload groceries onto the checkout conveyor belt
- efficiently pack customer purchases to prevent damage
- push or carry groceries in a shopping cart to the customer's vehicle
- load groceries into the vehicle
- verify merchandise prices across departments as needed
- restock and use supply items efficiently to minimize waste and reduce supply costs
- place discarded or returned merchandise appropriately
- collect shopping carts from the parking lot and other areas and return them to the designated area
- keep the work area clean, orderly, and free of safety hazards
- report defective equipment and hazards to management
- notify management of associate theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized markdowns, property defacement, or any illegal or company policy-violating actions
- perform other job-related duties as assigned
