Job Duties
- Greet, assist, and thank customers quickly, courteously, and friendly
- Help customers unload groceries onto the conveyor belt at checkout
- Pack customer purchases to prevent damage, push or carry grocery carts to customer vehicles, and load groceries into vehicles
- Verify pricing of merchandise in all departments as needed
- Replenish and use supply items efficiently to minimize waste and keep supply costs low
- Place discarded or returned merchandise appropriately
- Retrieve carts from the parking lot and other areas and return them to designated spots
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area
- report defective equipment and hazards
- Notify management of associate theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized markdowns, property damage, or any illegal or company policy-violating actions
- Perform other related duties as assigned
