Job Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- flexible tour of duty including nights, weekends and holidays
- non-critical sensitive security clearance
- completion of favorable suitability or fitness determination
- registered or exempt from selective service if male born after 12-31-59

- mission essential position requiring reporting during emergencies
- must complete required training and certifications within specified timelines
Job Qualifications
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-05 level
- experience answering 911 calls
- experience working with emergency services dispatch equipment
- experience providing instruction on emergency medical procedures
- experience interpreting pertinent laws and regulations
- must meet eligibility and minimum qualifications by closing date
Job Duties
- Provides advanced emergency medical dispatch life support through pre-arrival instructions to callers
- operates and maintains all Dispatch Call Center equipment, including State Police Systems to obtain criminal background information
- prepares and maintains reports and records relating to emergency responses
