Job Requirements
- Certifications must be current, not in process and not inactive
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State driver’s license
- State paramedic certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS-Provider)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS-Provider)
- Minimum 2 years experience as a paramedic working on an ambulance
- Currently affiliated with an EMS agency and working under the direction of a Medical Director
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Ability to immediately travel for a no-notice event

- ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 (preferred)
- 911 emergency experience (preferred)
- NREMT-Paramedic (preferred)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider/PALS-Provider (preferred)
Job Duties
- Assess each call situation to determine best course of action while working with progressive paramedic protocols
- Utilize paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care
- Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given
- Act as paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed
- Operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles
- Set up and prepare the mobile operations
- Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel
- Ability to immediately travel for a no-notice event
- Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations
