Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must have EMT-1 certification
- must have reliable means of communication
- must have a reliable means of transportation
- must have legal right to work in the United States
- must have the ability to speak, read and write English
- must be willing to participate in company’s pre-employment screening process including drug screen and background investigation
Job Qualifications
- EMT-1 certification
- ability to communicate effectively with medical personnel and clients
- basic knowledge of emergency medical practices
- ability to administer first aid including oxygen, splints, and resuscitation
- strong interpersonal skills
- professional and ethical conduct
- ability to work weekdays Monday to Friday
- proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking
Job Duties
- Determines nature and extent of illness or injury to establish first aid procedures
- administers prescribed first aid treatment at site of emergency
- communicates with professional medical personnel for instructions and patient reception
- controls access to client site through admittance process
- assists visitors and screens client employees for entry
- provides courteous and respectful interaction with client employees and visitors
- presents a positive image of the client and security department
