Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification
  • Colorado EMT-P certification
  • Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Completion of one transport professional advanced trauma course such as TPATC, PHTLS, or ITLS
  • Minimum of 5 years paramedic experience
  • Ability to obtain other state licenses within six months of hire
  • Preferred flight or critical care transport experience
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Ability to operate in high-pressure environments

  • Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Completion of one transport professional advanced trauma course such as TPATC, PHTLS, or ITLS
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a paramedic, preferably in a high call volume environment
  • Preferred experience includes flight or critical care transport (CCT) and instructor certifications

Job Duties

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care throughout transport from initial contact to transfer to accepting medical team
  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses within required timeframes
  • Participate in pre- and post-transport briefings and provide follow-up to referral agencies
  • Ensure all equipment is operational, address discrepancies, and complete vehicle and equipment checklists
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and provide education to referring facilities and EMS agencies
  • Exhibit strong critical thinking and decisive judgment in high-pressure environments
  • Maintain compliance with all licensure and certification requirements
