Job Requirements
- High school diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
- Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience if applicable
- Ability to work night shifts
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to operate emergency communication equipment
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation
- Ability to multitask under pressure

Job Duties
- Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency telephone and radio calls for medical assistance
- Respond to calls in a time-sensitive manner
- Ensure appropriate and accurate routing of calls
- Dispatch emergency units and coordinate air medical flights as appropriate and per established algorithms
- Maintain documentation of calls and physician/service referral for legal, medical and statistical purposes
- Follow up with referring entities for ease of access, marketing, evaluation, and quality improvement
