Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- less than 1 year relevant work experience
- EMT-B licensure
- availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- ability to communicate clearly and courteously under pressure
- preferred experience in 911 dispatch
- ability to handle multiple simultaneous decisions
- sensitivity to diverse communication styles
Job Qualifications

- licensed emergency medical technician-basic
- experience with advanced communications systems preferred
- strong listening skills
- ability to make decisions effectively in fast-paced environments

Job Duties

- understands the operations and applications of all communication equipment
- communicates information and emergency notification to customers in an efficient, concise and courteous manner
- performs ground and event communications coordination
- provides information and emergency notification to customers
- practices continuous professional development and excellent customer service
- practices proactive operational support of the department
