Job Requirements

  • Total flight time of 3000 hours
  • pilot in command (PIC) time of 1500 hours
  • multi-engine land (MEL) time of 1500 hours
  • MEL pilot in command time of 500 hours
  • turbojet time of 500 hours
  • instrument rating with 250 hours
  • minimum of 5 years aviation experience

Job Qualifications

  • Type rating on ERJ-145 or Legacy aircraft desired
  • must possess an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
  • part 121 or 125 corporate flight experience preferred
  • first class medical required
  • ability to work on an on-call basis
  • completion of ICAO International procedures training annually
  • primary residence within 1-hour drive from Concord, NC or willingness to relocate

Job Duties

  • Responsible for safe operation of the ERJ-145 aircraft
  • conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner according to Hendrick Motorsports and FAA regulations
  • review maintenance status of the aircraft
  • perform proper pre-flight inspections in accordance with Aircraft Flight Manual
  • check weather and facilities along flight routes including alternate airports
  • ensure flight complies with company policies and federal regulations
  • ensure safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew
  • complete all trip paperwork accurately
