Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years hotel sales experience
- Valid driver's license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Developed professional selling skills
- Ability to organize and present effectively
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime if necessary
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of previous hotel sales experience
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state
- Developed verbal and written communication skills to negotiate convince sell and influence management personnel hotel guests and corporate clients
- Professional selling skills including opening probing supporting closing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational and presentation skills
Job Duties
- Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals as well as solicitation call goals while training and mentoring others
- Proactively conduct solicitation calls conduct sales tours and entertain clients specific to leisure SMERF business travel and groups as applicable by property
- Monitor and evaluate trends within your market segment
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive friendly courteous and service-oriented manner
- Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality's established regulations company standards sales standards and sales metrics
- Develop a full working knowledge of the operations and policies of the hotel and applicable departments
- Maintain strong visibility in local community and industry organizations as applicable
