Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred or a 4-year college degree with at least 1 year of related experience or a 2-year college degree with at least 2 years of related experience
  • valid driver’s license in the applicable state required
  • highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to negotiate, sell, and influence
  • thorough experience with professional selling skills
  • strong analytical skills and strategic vision
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
  • ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • strong organization and presentation skills
  • demonstrated ability to manage and interact with people of diverse backgrounds
  • advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
  • ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Cast creative sales and marketing strategies to increase room bookings and revenue
  • assemble, train, mentor, and inspire a diverse sales team
  • develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and marketing campaigns
  • conduct sales calls, property tours, and client meetings to build relationships
  • collaborate with the General Manager in hotel operations and team support
  • maintain high energy and enthusiasm to celebrate team successes
  • represent the hotel as a positive and stylish ambassador
