Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- 2-year college degree or higher
- related experience as specified
- holds and maintains Food Handlers certification
- holds and maintains Alcohol Awareness certification
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- proficiency in Windows operating systems
- proficiency in company approved spreadsheets and word processing
- supervisory experience preferred
- strong communication skills

Job Qualifications
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field with a 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience or a 4-year college degree with 1 to 2 years of related experience or a culinary degree with 1 to 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- Holds and maintains applicable certification requirements including Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR and First Aid
- Proficient in Windows operating systems, company approved spreadsheets, and word processing
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful, high pressure situations
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Effective at handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems
- Ability to assimilate complex information and data from disparate sources
- Effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns raised by co-workers and guests

Job Duties
- Assist in providing oversight of the kitchen staff, outlets, banquet food display merchandising, and operations of the Kitchen and Banquet departments as required
- Work towards improving Cafe, Room Service, Lounge, and Banquet sales revenues to exceed budget in partnership with the F&B Director and staff
- Maintain familiarity with the general organization of a hotel and the function of each department
- Communicate in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist the F&B Director with forecasting and budgeting tasks
- Maintain professional working relationships and promote open communication with managers, employees, and other departments
- Stay knowledgeable and aware of local competition and industry trends
