Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Complete and pass required training modules both initial and ongoing
- Know the weekly work schedule, arrive at work on time, and meet standards for cleanliness and appearance
- Communicate with Executive Chef or Sous Chef to learn about nightly specials, guest flow, banquets, or special events
- Set up station in accordance with standard procedures
- maintain work station in a clean and orderly condition
- Scrap, sort, and stack or load dishes to be washed
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, utensils, pots, and pans using dish machine using proper water temperature and measurements of detergent and sanitizer
- Wash items by hand as needed
- Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in designated stocking and storage areas
- Break down, clean, and sanitize the dish machine at the end of the shift
- Keep dish and other storage areas clean, safe, and well-organized
- assist with cleaning and maintenance throughout the kitchen
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pick-up areas
- clean and sanitize trash cans
- Clean and sanitize dumpster and refuse areas according to standards
- Power wash all floor mats
- may assist with sweep and scrubbing floors
- Assist with spot cleaning of furniture, floors, carpets, walls, countertops, and other surfaces throughout the building
- Assist with storing food, equipment, small wares, supplies, and other stock items throughout the restaurant
- Clean and perform routine maintenance to the exterior of the building according to the housekeeping, cleaning, and maintenance schedule
- Demonstrate teamwork
- attend team meetings
- communicate information regarding requests, complaints, or ideas for improvement to Managers
- Follow company policies and procedures, as well as sanitation and safety regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
