Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- willingness and ability to work effectively and efficiently as a member of a professional apartment maintenance team
- willingness and ability to work effectively and efficiently independently
- ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities, maintaining excellent public relations
- positive attitude with the ability to smile under all circumstances
- achieve Fair Housing certification before interacting with prospects or residents
- knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations
- participate in required training for compliance
- availability to work evenings and weekends
- present a neat, clean, and professional appearance
- comply with employee handbook policies
- dependability to follow instructions and management direction, take responsibility for actions, keep commitments, work long hours when necessary, complete tasks on time or communicate alternatives
- physical ability to work in demanding environments, including extended periods of walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs and ladders, shoveling snow and ice, moving appliances, and using various equipment
Job Qualifications

- must be willing and able to effectively interact with a wide variety of personalities, maintaining excellent public relations on an ongoing basis

- achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents
- knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations
- participate in training to comply with new or existing laws
- be able to work evenings and weekends
- present self in a neat, clean and professional manner at all times
- comply with expectations as demonstrated in the Employee Handbook
- dependability by following instructions, responding to management direction, taking responsibility for own actions, keeping commitments, committing to long hours of work when necessary, completing tasks on time or notifying appropriate person with an alternate plan
- able to work in a physically demanding job context involving outdoor and indoor conditions

Job Duties
- Prepares and cleans vacant units to prepare for move-ins
- general housekeeping in community areas of property and management office
- recycles appropriate materials in accordance with training procedures
- reports any broken items to management
- performs exterior and interior painting
- removes trash from grounds and units
- responsible for ensuring the grounds are free from any and all trash
- performs other related duties as assigned
