Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or professional certification
  • four years related experience in physical therapy, occupational therapy, special education or related disability services
  • ability to communicate effectively in verbal, written, and non-verbal forms
  • skills in employee coaching, delegation, and development
  • innovative and energetic leadership mindset
  • proficiency in multitasking, planning, data analysis, and project management
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • ability to work in an office/training center environment
  • commitment to comply with safety and security policies

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or professional certification

  • management experience preferred but not required
  • excellent verbal, writing and non-verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee Access eligibility process and travel training programs
  • ensure documentation is properly documented and maintained confidentially
  • conduct assessments for new customer eligibility and recertification in compliance with ADA
  • ensure all ADA functions comply with legal guidelines
  • conduct consistent, accurate, and fair ADA assessments
  • assess applicants for regional partners and provide subject matter guidance
  • remain compliant with ADA and transportation legal requirements
  • stay informed on regulatory changes related to disability transportation services
  • manage the Travel Training program and support travel trainer
  • keep reporting staff apprised of regulatory changes
  • oversee development of eligibility and travel training staff
  • maintain accurate records of assessments and eligibility results
  • ensure timely provision of customer documents as required by ADA
  • manage Conditional Eligibility usage properly
  • uphold No Show and Late Cancellation policies
  • recruit and maintain an appeals committee and oversee the appeals process
  • participate in staff training and development initiatives
  • supervise daily operations at the Silverton Assessment Center
  • maintain positive community relations with service providers
  • partner with internal and external groups relevant to paratransit in Greater Cincinnati
  • manage regional transportation projects including One-Seat Regional Paratransit program
  • arrange and present ongoing educational opportunities
  • manage operating and capital budgets
  • supervise and evaluate staff performance
  • attend public meetings and marketing events
  • promote exemplary customer service and professional development
  • facilitate development of strategies to meet organizational goals
  • ensure a positive and non-discriminatory work environment
  • comply with safety and security policies
  • perform other duties as assigned
