- high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- food handling experience preferred
- MSNA certification Level 4 required within 2 years of hire
- ServSafe certification required within 90 days of hire
- Certified Food Protection Manager certificate required within 90 days of hire

Job Duties
- coordinate kitchen operations and staff
- verify food service duties comply with state and federal regulations and policies
- estimate daily meal counts and ensure students are properly fed
- order and prepare food, produce, milk, commodities, and supplies
- oversee student financial accounts related to meals
- prepare and serve food
- clean work areas and equipment
- operate register and point of sale terminal accurately
