Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred
  • or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
  • or a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience
  • Valid driver’s license in the applicable state required
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate, sell, and influence
  • Thorough experience with professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic vision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong organization and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and interact with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure

Job Duties

  • Cast creative sales and marketing strategies to fill rooms and increase revenue
  • Train, mentor, and inspire the sales team to maintain high performance
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and marketing campaigns to position the hotel competitively
  • Conduct sales calls, client tours, and maintain strong client relationships
  • Collaborate with hotel departments and support the General Manager in operations and guest experience improvement
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities independently
  • Network extensively to grow the hotel's client base and brand presence
