Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred
  • or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
  • or a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience
  • Valid driver’s license in the applicable state
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to negotiate, sell, and influence
  • Thorough experience with professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic vision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong organization and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and interact with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure

Job Duties

  • Cast creative sales and marketing strategies to drive hotel occupancy and revenue
  • Train, mentor, and lead a diverse sales team to achieve targets
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and marketing campaigns to enhance hotel visibility
  • Conduct sales calls, client tours, and networking events to build lasting relationships
  • Collaborate with various departments and support the General Manager in daily operations
  • Manage multiple tasks independently while maintaining composure under pressure
  • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to capitalize on opportunities
