Job Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the U.S. full-time for the duration of the work term and able to produce documentation
Available to begin work in January 2026 or May 2026
Must be enrolled in a relevant engineering degree program and returning to full-time studies after the work term or registered in a co-op/internship program
Candidates currently in Masters or Ph.D. programs may be considered
Must have own transportation for field locations
New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities

Job Qualifications

Must be enrolled in an electrical, instrumentation, electronics engineering, engineering technology, or related engineering degree at an accredited post-secondary institution
Registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term
Candidates in masters or Ph.D. engineering programs may be considered
Ability to work well in a team environment
Solid analytical and Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent interpersonal, judgement, and decision-making skills

Job Duties

Assist with electrical and instrumentation projects including feasibility study, FEED, data collection, equipment specification, redlines/update drawings/documents, scope of work development, and engineering package review
Provide electrical, instrumentation, PLC, and SIS field support for maintenance, troubleshooting, construction, testing, commissioning, and start-up
Streamline preventive maintenance optimization, report review, work package development, and work notification generation for corrective actions and follow-up
Assist with PLC and SIS troubleshooting, engineering, programming, and loop check
Assist with reliability studies and failure investigations
