Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous service industry experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English in both verbal and written communication
- Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
- Must treat all information as confidential
- Must be able to lift, stoop, squat, push, stand and/or bend throughout shift
- Must be able to pull, lift and push heavy objects
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must pass pre-employment criminal background check
- Meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
- Must be able to verbally direct in English
- Must be a citizen of the United States or possess necessary authorization from INS
- Must have clear driving record

Job Duties
- Transport passengers via electric cart within airline terminal
- Deal courteously and tactfully with employees, passengers, clients and public
- Communicate effectively with others
- Communicate safety hazards and equipment problems to shift supervisor and management
- Provide transportation to passengers as requested
- Provide general information to passengers and give directions and flight information
- Check equipment thoroughly before use to ensure functionality
- Fill out cart and radio log at beginning of each shift
- Turn in keys and radio to supervisor at end of each shift
- Park carts in assigned places
- Drive at slow manageable speed, maximum jogging pace
- Drive with both hands on wheel and sit upright
- Limit seating to seven passengers or fewer
- Ensure all body parts and baggage are inside cart before moving
- Use only "Excuse the cart, please" as warning phrase when approaching pedestrians
- Stop before entering and exiting connecting buildings
- Never leave keys or radio on unattended cart
- Lock cart if out of sight
- Charge carts at scheduled intervals
- Stop cart immediately if battery indicator is red and contact coordinator
- Ensure charging switch is on and plug working when charging
- Be aware of coordinator's office signal lights
- Always stop if gate agent requests
- Never pass moving carts
- Announce "Cart passing" when passing stopped carts
- Maintain one cart length distance to avoid tailgating
- Never leave unaccompanied minors unattended
- Report all cart incidents to shift supervisor
- Always get off cart to assist passengers
- Never solicit tips
- May be required to dispatch carts as needed
- Complete appropriate documentation
- Handle luggage carefully
- Be familiar with FAA/Airline/Company regulations
- Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and report maintenance needs
- Project positive image and respond courteously to inquiries
- Attend meetings and in-services
- Use proper communications channels and maintain records as required
- Wear proper uniform and visible identification badges
- Adhere to company policies and contribute to objectives
- Utilize equipment and resources conscientiously and cost-effectively
- Perform other duties as requested
