Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year management experience in the hospitality business
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Ability to effectively speak, read, and write in English
- Ability to work irregular hours and under pressure
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations

Job Duties
- Responsible for achieving the restaurant's sales and profit plan
- Analyzes operating statements to identify problems and takes corrective action
- Selects and implements appropriate local store marketing programs
- Ensures new products are rolled out according to standards
- Ensures compliance with El Pollo Loco Operations Manual
- Maintains proper inventory levels
- Ensures exceptional guest satisfaction
- Supervises assistant managers and hourly staff
- Prepares management work schedules
- Organizes and conducts employee and management meetings
- Takes corrective disciplinary action
- Recognizes and rewards employee performance
- Responsible for recruitment and selection of staff
- Administers personnel records and performance appraisals
- Ensures cash handling and security policies
- Maintains compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations
