Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, chemical engineering or a related field
- Three or more years of experience in a related EHS role
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels within the organization
- Possess a hands-on attitude
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to support various locations
- Ability to perform all essential job duties satisfactorily
- Ability to work onsite
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a related EHS role
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels within the organization
- Demonstrated hands-on attitude
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to support PPG's Aerospace CMS locations
Job Duties
- Act as a dedicated EHS resource to manage and sustain EHS for CMS processes including 70+ accounts and 160+ employees
- Champion the CMS EHS Leadership Team, encourage participation, and provide direction for platform and chemical managers
- Support and monitor EHS start-up and transition activities at new or expanding CMS locations, including meeting customers' EHS teams and conducting site hazard assessments
- Drive key safety initiatives including Job Safety Analysis, site safety risk assessments, risk mitigation, and Management of Change
- Assist with administration of workers' compensation program to identify training needs and enhance accident prevention
- Act as the first point of contact for authorities and customers in case of accidents, damages, spills, or other incidents
- Conduct safety training and awareness sessions for CMS, Warehouse, Tech Services, and Sales employees, and onboard all new hires to ensure understanding of EHS requirements
