Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, or related field
- Five or more years of due diligence and remediation experience or risk management
- Knowledge of ASTM Phase I environmental standards and protocols
- Understanding of business and legal concepts in real estate transactions
- Experience developing and implementing environmental standards and policies
- Ability to establish successful partnerships with internal and external teams

- Five or more years of due diligence and remediation experience or risk management

- Master's degree preferred
- Experience working in dynamic and growing organizations
- Strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Support the Senior Manager as the single point of contact for transaction teams on due diligence programs
- Complete reviews of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and related reports
- Evaluate and investigate exposure risks from building materials like asbestos and lead-based paint
- Scope and manage Phase II site investigations
- Perform vapor intrusion screenings and health risk assessments with experts
- Draft mitigation plans for contaminated soil and groundwater during renovations
- Liaise with Real Estate, Legal, Construction, and Launch teams for mitigation and oversight
- Represent Amazon in dealings with property owners, consultants, and legal advisors
- Review and provide feedback on work by contractors and consultants
- Prioritize and advance multiple projects concurrently
