Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 6 years EHS and facilities experience
  • Minimum 2 years people management or team leadership
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Compliance with ITAR regulations as a U.S. person
  • Ability to work on-site M-F at Camarillo, CA
  • Willingness to relocate quickly if needed
  • Proficiency in managing safety and environmental compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in factory environment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution
  • Minimum 6 years of EHS and facilities experience in manufacturing
  • Minimum 2 years managing people or equivalent project leadership
  • Experience with environmental permits and compliance
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
  • Ability to develop and implement safety and emergency response plans
  • Skilled in incident investigation and corrective actions
  • Proficient in managing budgets and vendor contracts
  • Good communication skills across organizational levels
  • Familiarity with ITAR regulations
  • Preferred master’s degree
  • Preferred background in environmental science, industrial engineering, safety science, or business management
  • Preferred California regulatory experience
  • Experience with digital EHS applications
  • Self-managed and able to prioritize work effectively

Job Duties

  • Champion and lead zero incident safety culture projects
  • Prepare and submit environmental permit applications and renewals
  • Manage plant waste disposal and regulatory compliance
  • Develop and maintain safety plans and performance metrics
  • Coordinate emergency response plans and drills
  • Review and ensure compliance with environmental permits
  • Evaluate projects and chemicals for EHS compliance
  • Maintain SDS database for materials
  • Ensure completion and documentation of employee EHS training
  • Implement plant EHS programs, policies, and procedures
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
  • Perform and document plant safety inspections
  • Implement MESH compliance tasks
  • Drive employee engagement through EHS sub-teams
  • Manage capital projects for facility infrastructure and safety programs
