Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as industrial hygiene, chemical engineering, or EHS discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of chemical management experience including hazard identification, risk assessment, regulatory reporting, inventory management, and transportation
  • Experience in developing and maintaining chemical management programs
  • Proven expertise in global dangerous goods regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with EHS software tools
  • Knowledge of regulatory inspections and emergency response protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial hygiene, chemical engineering, or related EHS field
  • 7+ years of chemical management-related experience
  • Expertise in dangerous goods shipping regulations including 49 CFR, IATA, IMDG, ADR
  • Experience developing and maintaining chemical safety programs
  • Proficient in chemical risk management and EHS compliance audits
  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
  • Experience with EHS software platforms such as Enablon or Cority
  • Preferred master's degree in science or related EHS field
  • Recognized professional credentials like CIH or CSP
  • Knowledge of industrial hygiene, hazardous waste, emergency response, and air emissions
  • Experience with US EPA Tier II and California HMPBP reporting

Job Duties

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in global Dangerous Goods shipping regulations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and improve compliant chemical management programs
  • Develop and implement the chemical inventory management program
  • Lead or support management aspects such as SDS management, chemical storage, risk assessments, and emergency response
  • Maintain and improve chemical management software systems
  • Provide technical support and regulatory compliance expertise
  • Partner with local teams to integrate chemical management practices
  • Manage deployment projects of chemical management processes
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Support corporate EHS initiatives and reporting
