Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education, cultural studies, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in educational program coordination or cultural program management
- Experience coordinating with school districts and educators
- Knowledge of grant compliance and reporting requirements

Job Duties
- Oversee the planning, development, and execution of on-site educational programs that align with the National Chavez Center's mission
- Ensure all programs are engaging, culturally relevant, and meet educational standards
- Manage the day-to-day operations of onsite programs, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation
- Develop relationships with school district partners to promote the National Chavez Center's educational offerings
- Coordinate and facilitate field trips, ensuring students have a meaningful educational experience
- Work with educators to customize programs that meet the needs and interests of visiting school groups
- Implement programs that meet the requirements of grant-funded initiatives, ensuring all objectives and deliverables are achieved
- Monitor and report on the progress of grant-funded programs, maintaining compliance with all grant guidelines
- Implement tools to collect data on program participation, learning outcomes, and visitor satisfaction
- Collaborate with the Director of Educational and Cultural Programs to identify new opportunities and support grant-writing efforts
- Contribute to developing new educational programs and products that enhance the National Chavez Center's offerings
- Work closely with the curriculum development team to create resources and materials that support program goals
- Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve program offerings
- Support the planning and execution of educational events, cultural celebrations, and conferences at the center
- Assist in coordinating logistics, managing event staff, and ensuring a high-quality experience for all attendees
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate educational components into more significant center-wide events
- Oversee front desk operations, ensuring visitors receive a warm welcome and excellent customer service
- Coordinate visitor tours, working with guides to provide informative and engaging experiences
- Operate the cash register, including processing sales transactions, handling cash, and maintaining accurate records of sales at the gift shop at the Cesar E. Chavez National Monument
- Monitor visitor feedback and address any issues related to guest services
- Coordinate joint programs, events, and initiatives that align with both organizations' missions
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with National Park Service staff
