Job Requirements
- graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum two years experience in relevant educational programming preferred
- strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- willingness to attend events and work flexible hours as needed
- proof of US citizenship or authorization to work in the US
- successful completion of pre-employment drug testing
- must complete the City of Springfield online application in its entirety
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, education, natural and applied sciences, graphic design, planning, or related field
- two years experience in developing or providing educational programming to community groups or schools
- strong communication and presentation skills
- ability to create engaging educational content
- experience in community outreach and public engagement
- creativity and organizational skills
Job Duties
- develop and deliver environmental and transportation-related education programs
- plan and implement public outreach initiatives
- create engaging educational materials
