Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation
  • Will require a post-offer, pre-employment and random drug screening
  • Must successfully complete the New Mexico Food Handlers course upon hire

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in restaurant or food service capacity preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Strong commitment to the organization
  • Ability to deal effectively with the general public and casino staff
  • Maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene
  • Knowledge of minimum temperature requirements for food and drink preservation
  • Knowledge of Tribal, Federal, State and local sanitary regulations regarding the preparation, maintenance, storage and sales of food and drink products

Job Duties

  • Provides excellent customer service and establishes guest perception of restaurant service that is far from ordinary
  • Ensures tables are cleaned thoroughly within 5 minutes of guests departing and set up properly in a timely and complete manner
  • Assists servers with pre-bussing tables during service as well as assisting with beverage service as assigned
  • Participates in daily stand-up meetings to ensure property communication is understood
  • Timely completion of computer assisted training as required
  • Performs and maintains cleanliness of dining areas and work areas at all times
  • Transports trash to proper disposal areas as required
  • Keeps all areas fully stocked and organized as assigned
  • Transports clean and soiled dishes to appropriate areas
  • Ensures that health and safety regulations are maintained and adhered to at all times
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned
