Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation
- Will require a post-offer, pre-employment and random drug screening
- Must successfully complete the New Mexico Food Handlers course upon hire
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent preferred
- Experience in restaurant or food service capacity preferred
- Ability to follow instructions
- Strong commitment to the organization
- Ability to deal effectively with the general public and casino staff
- Maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene
- Knowledge of minimum temperature requirements for food and drink preservation
- Knowledge of Tribal, Federal, State and local sanitary regulations regarding the preparation, maintenance, storage and sales of food and drink products
Job Duties
- Provides excellent customer service and establishes guest perception of restaurant service that is far from ordinary
- Ensures tables are cleaned thoroughly within 5 minutes of guests departing and set up properly in a timely and complete manner
- Assists servers with pre-bussing tables during service as well as assisting with beverage service as assigned
- Participates in daily stand-up meetings to ensure property communication is understood
- Timely completion of computer assisted training as required
- Performs and maintains cleanliness of dining areas and work areas at all times
- Transports trash to proper disposal areas as required
- Keeps all areas fully stocked and organized as assigned
- Transports clean and soiled dishes to appropriate areas
- Ensures that health and safety regulations are maintained and adhered to at all times
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned
