Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in journalism or related field
- minimum 3 years of journalism experience
- proven editorial and writing skills
- ability to meet deadlines
- experience in hospitality industry preferred
- strong analytical skills
- experience managing freelance contributors
- proficiency in digital content creation and newsletter publishing
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- familiarity with economic and financial concepts relevant to hospitality
Job Qualifications
- proven track record in editing, writing, and reporting
- strong time management skills, especially under tight deadlines
- ability to edit various story formats including breaking news and long-form trend stories

- experience assigning and editing freelance work
Job Duties
- report and write news stories related to the hotel industry
- edit and manage daily and weekly newsletters
- assign stories to freelance contributors and provide editorial feedback
- develop and implement editorial strategies based on analytics
- cover key topics including hotel development, investments, M&A, earnings reports, and economic trends
- collaborate with the team to enhance story formats and subjects
- manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
