Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • previous management or supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
  • ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends and public holidays
  • willingness to learn new restaurant service concepts
  • ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
  • effective multitasking and prioritization skills
  • strong customer service orientation
  • Food Safety Certification preferred
  • bartending experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a manager, supervisor or lead in a restaurant setting
  • experience in a hotel or resort is a plus
  • proven track record of effectively supervising and coaching staff
  • excellent interpersonal skills and a coaching/mentor attitude
  • strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve complaints directly
  • excellent knowledge of liquors, beers and wines
  • strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • effective communication skills with guests, coworkers and management

Job Duties

  • Supervise and coach restaurant staff including bartenders, servers, hosts, and food runners
  • review inventory and orders to maintain stock levels
  • prepare and lead pre-shift meetings
  • resolve customer issues or complaints promptly and professionally
  • enforce service standards and provide training and guidance as needed
  • promote teamwork and support among restaurant staff and hotel colleagues
  • oversee day-to-day restaurant operations as manager on duty
