Job Qualifications
- Previous hotel related housekeeping is preferred but not required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm and friendly in stressful situations
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a high volume, deadline oriented work environment
- Ability to meet the attendance requirements of the job including having a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Value diversity and the ability to work with individuals from different backgrounds
Job Duties
- Efficiently and effectively clean hotel rooms and other general hotel areas used by hotel guests
- Safely lift and carry heavy objects with a hand truck or the help of another person if necessary
- Work independently and follow strict adherence to deadlines
- Perform repetitive movements such as pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and stooping
- Work for long periods on feet including frequent walking, standing and stair climbing
- Communicate clearly and be positive, polite, and cooperative with co-workers, managers, and customers
- Work with chemicals used in cleaning and sanitizing
