Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work all shifts including overnight, weekends, and holidays
  • US work authorization required unless currently a Four Seasons manager
  • physical stamina to stand and move throughout shift
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in luxury or fine dining environment preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years fine dining experience

Job Duties

  • Has complete knowledge of food and beverage products and specifications
  • clears and resets tables as quickly as possible
  • greets guests warmly with a smile and eye contact
  • checks for table setting completeness
  • describes breakfast, lunch and dinner features including menu changes and daily specials
  • oversees table maintenance and coordinates service at the table with runners
  • works with coworkers in clearing and re-setting tables
  • operates as a member of a team helping others and requesting help as needed
  • performs other restaurant duties as requested by management
  • keeps all stations supplied with silverware, glassware, share plates, bread plates, placemats, condiments, sugar, coffee, tea, etc
  • makes sure that the guest’s check is completed properly and presented promptly
  • ensures that change or charge slip is returned to the guest in a timely manner
  • communicates the needs of the guests to kitchen and management
  • informs management of guests’ reactions and comments
  • assists management as needed to ensure smooth operation and quality service
  • controls the amount of alcohol served to prevent intoxication
  • helps promote a safe and clean environment for co-workers and guests
