Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- basic communication skills in the English language well enough to be understood
- ability to occasionally assist with other kitchen duties
- completion of a background check including physical, TB test, and criminal history check
- must be able to work every Sunday 11:30 am to 3:30 pm and every other Saturday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Job Qualifications
- Experience with kitchen organization is preferred
- basic communication skills in English well enough to be understood
Job Duties
- Monitors and records water temperature and sanitizer solution levels
- notifies management if levels are not correct
- understands and observes sanitary guidelines and environmental requirements
- cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces, ware-washing system, garbage cans, and areas in kitchen
- maintains storage room for cleaning supplies, chemicals
- keeps room clean, and items stocked, labeled, and organized
- sweeps and mops kitchen at end of shift
- breaks down boxes and takes trash to dumpster
- delivers meal trays to resident apartments
- performs other duties as assigned
