Job Requirements
- Be able to work 10:30am - 7:30pm, 5 days/week
- Must be able to work every other Saturday
- Ability to push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs
- Maintain professional relationships with vendors
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Completion of background check
- Successful completion of food safety course
- At least 18 years of age
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Prior experience as a cook (1-2 years preferred)
- Ability to prepare high-quality food for residents
- Maintain professional relationships with food and equipment vendors as needed
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Successful completion of food safety course as required by state/local guidelines
- Completion of background check, post-offer, pre-employment physical
Job Duties
- Prepare various entrees and food items under direction of Dining Supervisor
- Maintain kitchen food safety and sanitary food handling in compliance with State, Federal, and local regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
