Job Requirements

Ability to obtain and maintain Tribal Gaming License
valid Food Handlers card
Hepatitis A vaccination
Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification
Payment Card Industry Training
available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
employment contingent on favorable background investigation

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
one to three months related experience or training helpful
experience as a waiter or waitress preferred
excellent customer relations and service skills
ability to handle cash transactions accurately
problem-solving skills under pressure
ability to learn and operate POS systems

Job Duties

Ensure compliance with internal controls and Northern Quest policies and procedures
use the Point of Sale (POS) system as trained
greet guests, take beverage and food orders, serve orders, clear tables, and present guest checks
collect payment and provide change
provide attentive and friendly service to all guests
educate guests about daily specials and answer questions
be knowledgeable about wine and answer questions on wine pairing
communicate with supervisor to resolve guest issues
maintain orderly and neat payments throughout shift
sell and refill beverages including alcohol
maintain assigned sections and workstations
assist other servers to ensure teamwork
complete side work to maintain clean and stocked stations
perform all necessary paperwork at shift end
relay complaints or positive remarks to supervisor
maintain confidential records of tips
attend training meetings
assist with other projects as directed
