Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen
- Food handler's certification or equivalent
- Open availability including evenings weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- Additional culinary certifications or training in advanced cooking techniques is a plus
- Creativity in menu planning and dish presentation is a plus
- Strong multitasking abilities to manage various cooking tasks simultaneously is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes including appetizers entrees and desserts in accordance with hotel recipes and standards
- Ensure dishes are presented attractively and meet quality standards including taste texture and temperature
- Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient kitchen including proper food storage equipment maintenance and cleanliness
- Monitor inventory levels manage stock rotation and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations including food handling sanitation and hygiene practices
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff including sous chefs line cooks and dishwashers to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Be flexible with tasks and schedules to meet the needs of the kitchen and hotel operations
