Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • minimum one year experience as a cook in commercial or private environment preferred
  • knowledge of modern cooking procedures and health and hygiene requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • comprehensive knowledge of modern cooking procedures and health and hygiene requirements

Job Duties

  • Support the Early Learning Center's spiritual and educational mission
  • plan and prepare nutritious and well-balanced meals according to ELC and DCF requirements and applicable laws
  • ensure health, sanitation, and safety requirements are met at all times
  • maintain a clean kitchen following accepted health guidelines
  • work within allotted budget guidelines
  • perform other duties as assigned
