Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative or receptionist role
  • experience in an early childhood education or school setting preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to multitask and stay organized
  • proficiency with basic office software and equipment
  • professional and reliable demeanor
  • ability to sit for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • maintain a professional appearance
  • work Monday through Friday only

Job Duties

  • Welcome and assist parents, children, and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and care
  • manage the reception area to ensure it remains organized, inviting, and aligned with Grace’s culture of hospitality
  • answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide accurate information
  • assist with student registration, attendance, and documentation processes
  • support the administrative team with daily office tasks such as filing, copying, and record-keeping
  • maintain office supplies and coordinate ordering as needed
  • handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries efficiently
  • help ensure the safety and security of the office by monitoring access and following safety procedures
  • process payments and assist with basic bookkeeping and reporting tasks as directed
  • maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in all interactions
  • contribute to a positive, faith-filled team environment that supports staff, children, and families
  • classroom assistance as needed
