Job Requirements
- One year experience in a similar position including prior loan experience and meeting service and performance goals
- Knowledge of all applicable federal, state, and NCUA regulations including BSA, Regulation CC, Regulation D, and Regulation E
- Comprehensive understanding of deposit account products and services
- Working knowledge of loan products and associated systems
- Ability to garner new business
- Interest in helping members through meaningful conversations
- Ability to work under pressure with interruptions
- Proficiency in PC operations and Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- One year experience in a similar role including prior loan experience
- Knowledge of federal, state, and NCUA regulations including BSA, Regulation CC, Regulation D, and Regulation E
- Comprehensive knowledge of deposit account products and services
- Working knowledge of loan products and loans decisioning systems
- Proven ability to generate business
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Attention to detail
- Genuine interest in member service and empathetic nature
Job Duties
- Consults with members
- Identifies needs, offers solutions, and follows up on pending transactions
- Holds conversations with members in person or over the phone
- Calls on various call reports to generate business throughout the workday and call nights
- Escorts members to appropriate resolution destinations
- Receives and disburses funds
- Opens new accounts and sub-shares
- Originates and processes consumer loans including closed-end signature and VISA
- Performs account maintenance such as issuing/re-pinning ATM/Debit cards, address changes, name changes, joint ownership updates, beneficiary updates, account closures, deceased account processing, notary services, and issuing cashier's checks
- Recommends and refers mortgage, investment, and Autoland services
- Ensures branch balance including TCR
- Identifies and reports suspicious or fraudulent activity
- Completes training and compliance modules
- Supports credit union events and continuous improvement activities
- Upholds confidentiality and professionalism
- Treats all members and team with respect
- Performs other related duties as assigned
