Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- minimum three months experience in housekeeping operations
- minimum three years supervisory experience
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office or Google Suite platforms

Job Duties
- Completes at least four general inspection tours throughout the facility daily
- checks assigned areas to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
- makes necessary corrections immediately
- inspects public areas at shift start and during tours
- inspects at least 20 percent of discharges daily and records findings
- submits project needs to Operations Manager
- coordinates project team activities ensuring quality and safety standards
- promotes cleanliness standards as a source of pride
- provides scheduled retraining and annual in-service education
- applies positive reinforcement to promote morale
- fosters healthy relationships with hospital personnel, patients, visitors, and the public
- manages time and resources efficiently
- communicates daily with management verbally and in writing
- oversees 2nd and 3rd shift operations and assumes department responsibility in Operations Manager absence
- maintains storage areas and equipment cleanliness and safety
- demonstrates knowledge of other departments related to Environmental Services
- adheres to organizational competencies and standards of behavior
- performs other duties and projects as assigned
