Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Previous housekeeping experience or other service industry experience
- Ability to clean patient rooms
- Basic computer skills
- Basic knowledge of floor care, carpet cleaning and equipment
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, family members, visitors and staff in the Center
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- One year of housekeeping experience preferred, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Ability to clean patient rooms
- Basic computer skills
- Basic knowledge of floor care, carpet cleaning and equipment
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, family members, visitors and staff in the Center
Job Duties
- Performs floor care including bonnet cleaning
- Extraction carpet cleaning
- Mopping and scrubbing floors
- Buffing and waxing floors
- Disposes of waste properly
- Collects and distributes linen
- Sets up rooms for meetings as assigned
- Practices good public relations at all times
- Cleans outside areas surrounding the Center
- Practices proper safety techniques in the performance of the assignment in accordance with policy and procedures
- Responsible for reporting of employee, patients, visitor's injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor
