Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding duties including walking, standing, bending and lifting heavy objects
- Willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques
- Ability to follow safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment
- Effective communication skills
- Capability to work third shift
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual

- Knowledge of hard floor and carpet detail projects
Job Duties
- Perform carpet extraction, encapsulation, and spotting
- Perform hard floor stripping, waxing, burnishing, polishing and scrubbing
- Execute facility periodic detailing duties as assigned
- Perform and/or report minor maintenance repairs and any damages
- Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner
- Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition
- Properly label, dilute and use all chemicals
- Wear proper personal protective equipment at all times
- Perform other custodial duties as assigned
