Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior custodial or cleaning experience preferred
- knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques
- ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as walking, standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects
- strong follow-through on delegated tasks and assignments
- ability to work third shift
- ability to maintain safety standards including proper use of personal protective equipment
- effective communication skills
- ability to work independently or as part of a team

- knowledge of hard floor and carpet detail projects
Job Duties
- Perform carpet extraction, encapsulation, and spotting
- perform hard floor stripping, waxing, burnishing, polishing, and scrubbing
- conduct facility periodic detailing duties as assigned
- perform and/or report minor maintenance repairs and damages
- maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner
- maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition
- properly label, dilute, and use all chemicals
- wear proper personal protective equipment at all times
- perform other custodial duties as assigned
