Job Requirements
- Right to live and work in the USA
- Valid US driving license
- Significant aircraft maintenance experience
- Ability to travel to support assigned area
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
- Strong understanding of BA business and operations
- Knowledge of cultural diversity
- Ability to lead and deliver change
Job Qualifications
- UK CAA or FAA A&P License preferred
- B1 type approvals for B777, B787, A380 desirable
- Minimum 5 years maintenance-related experience in aircraft maintenance industry
- Knowledge of HS&E standards applicable to the area of responsibility
- Understanding of aviation regulatory requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience managing line engineers and support staff in a union environment desirable
- Ability to gather information, interpret data and make decisions
Job Duties
- Drive cultural and behavioral change aligning to corporate values
- Manage manned and agency stations to defined measures of quality, cost, delivery and colleague satisfaction
- Deliver cross-regional projects supporting global line maintenance objectives
- Build and strengthen third-party and internal customer partnerships to drive revenue improvement
- Provide operational support on stations including shift work
- Manage agency and third-party interfaces
- Ensure compliance with BA, customer, EASA, CAA, and FAA standards
- Manage station or portion of station to meet operational, safety, quality and financial targets
- Define and lead strategic planning for the region including growth and succession planning
- Develop and improve line maintenance working practices and facilities for productivity and financial performance
