Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED within one year of hire
- Three years of experience as a Paramedic in emergency department or pre-hospital setting
- Graduation from an accredited Paramedic Training Program
- Current registered Paramedic license with the State of Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Job Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Paramedic Training Program recognized by Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
- Current registered Paramedic license with the State of Colorado
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association
- Three years of experience as a Paramedic in emergency department and/or pre-hospital setting
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Provide safe and effective patient care within scope of practice
- Follow physician's orders and established standards
- Function under direction of hospital-based Medical Director
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Deliver quality care to meet patient and family healthcare needs
- Adhere to scope of practice as defined by Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
