Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED within one year of hire
  • Three years of experience as a Paramedic in emergency department or pre-hospital setting
  • Graduation from an accredited Paramedic Training Program
  • Current registered Paramedic license with the State of Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Job Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Paramedic Training Program recognized by Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
  • Current registered Paramedic license with the State of Colorado
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association
  • Three years of experience as a Paramedic in emergency department and/or pre-hospital setting
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Provide safe and effective patient care within scope of practice
  • Follow physician's orders and established standards
  • Function under direction of hospital-based Medical Director
  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Deliver quality care to meet patient and family healthcare needs
  • Adhere to scope of practice as defined by Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
