Job Requirements
- 2-5 years of general manager experience required
- must be able to pass a background check
- must have reliable transportation
- ServSafe certification
- Food Handlers certification
Job Qualifications
- knowledge of food and beverage industry trends
- experience in managing food costs and profit and loss (PL) management
- proven track record of driving business growth and profitability
- strong leadership and people management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- monitor and control payroll and other expenses
- manage both retail and restaurant operations
- adhere to food and beverage budgets
- develop and implement strategies to achieve business goals and objectives
- create schedules utilizing forecasting and scheduling tools to provide maximum efficiency and labor savings
- direct food and beverage services organizational strategies by contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to functional strategic thinking and direction
- participate in weekly department head meetings and individual meetings as needed to meet business plan objectives and provide appropriate communication and direction
- implement food and beverage financial strategies by anticipating requirements, trends and variances
- develop budgets and capital expenditure plans
- develop action plans, measures and analyzes results
- initiate corrective actions, minimizing the impact of variances
- control food and beverage supplies by meeting with sales representatives
- negotiating prices and contracts
- developing preferred supplier lists
- reviewing and evaluating usage reports
- analyzing variances
- taking corrective actions
- keep food and beverage equipment operating by enforcing adherence to operating instructions
- maintain safe, secure, legal and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing sanitation and quality of food and beverage preparation and service standards and procedures
- maintain the integrity of company proprietary information and protect company assets
- perform all other duties as assigned, planned or un-planned
