Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years of baking experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, smell
  • Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years of baking experience preferred
  • Experience with high volume scratch baking
  • Ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented, punctual, and reliable

Job Duties

  • Prepare all baked goods for venue operations according to department quality specs and recipes
  • Ensure final baked goods preparation complies with Paragon Casino Resort standards
  • Assist in maintaining health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Participate as a team member with cooks and supervisor employees to produce a smoothly and efficiently run operation
  • Create new recipes
  • Maintain quality, cost, waste, and distribution of all foods produced
  • Maintain cleanliness and ensure ServSafe guidelines are followed by all employees
  • Ensure all bakery products are supplied to all venues
  • Perform other duties as assigned
